Activities take place in the former ADU apartment of Barry Adams, or in the garden outside, or (if the person leading the activity would like to organize a nature walk, for example) in and around the hamlet of Brooktondale. Incidentally, Brooktondale was called "Mott's Corners" before 1883, and the center of town is undoubtably Brookton's Market, which is just a short walk away -- convenient for grabbing a sandwich and beverage if food isn't included in the activity at Motts Corners (and also handy for parking).
Motts Corners has a living room (with large sofa, 3 comfortable chairs, and about 6 folding chairs that could be added -- and a piano and large musical instrument collection), a fully-equipped kitchenette with oven, range, microwave, and fridge, an activity room with a large oval dining table that seats 8, and a therapy room with a sofa, massage table, massage chair, futons, and small desk. Additional massage tables can be set up in the therapy room and/or in the living room. The bathroom is ADA compliant and participants in wheelchairs can enter via the garage to avoid all steps. The living room looks out into a private shaded garden with seating options as well.
Motts Corners is only 1000 square feet, so space is limited. Too many people and there won't be room to move around. But, on the other hand, it's not much fun if only 2 people come to a workshop or activity. For an indoor activity, the goal is to have between 5 and 15 participants... if the garden is included, Motts Corners can accommodate roughly 30 people.
Activity leaders at Motts Corners are not paid for their activities, although they can ask for reimbursement for any materials they might provide (and they are also welcome to promote any private paid activities that they organize elsewhere). The owners of Motts Corners are not paid for the use of their space and their efforts to organize and promote activities, but anyone who believes that Motts Corners is providing a worthwhile service to the community is certainly free to make a donation.
